This is a classic album. Recorded in 1998 and thereafter became and amazing and influential band from California. Mixes melodic and cathcy pop/emo with more strict new wave punk ala gang of four, wire etc. Yanking and lovely vocals. Brilliant album.

Snoras is playing a show at Spasibar, Oslo sunday 19.11. This will be a kind of a release gig, and the members will feature Yngve, Mattias(angora static), Marius (kaospilot) and Kenneth( jr ewing). Be there ladies and gents!

JET SET NJET CD OUT NOW
Jet set njet is a refreshing psychedelica - dub and art-punk collective heading from Oslo, Norway. The album contains 13 tracks, hereto recording session from 2004 and their new stuff in 2005 + a remix and more goodies. Fans of Yes, Captain Beefheart, GoGoGO Airheart and Wire will definately like this record. Its original and catchy as fuck.

THE SPECTACLE IS BREAKING UP.
After massive touring, releasing great records and getting international attention THE SPECTACLE sadly call it quits. Members have formed new bands and we are all looking forward to hear what they will create. I'll keep you updated about further news. RUMBLE IN RHODOS UPDATE
Rumble in rhodos won the FAVOURITE NEW INTERNATIONAL ARTIST/GROUP price at the Canadian music week. Check out an article in dagbladet or go to the CMW website.
RIR just finished their 5 week tour in Norway. Their record is selling well here in Norway and recievd positive press reviews. Now its time for you outside norway to take action.
RiR are currently writing songs for their next record and working on a european tour.

KAOSPILOT / HARAM EUROPEAN TOUR
KAOSPILOT and Lovitt Records' new hitmakers HARAM will tour together for 2 weeks in Europe. The tour will include: Denmark, Germany, Czech, Austria, Belgium and the UK. I will bring all anomalie records and distro with me. Niels of SELMATRAVELSbooks the tour.
OLD NEWS-RUMBLE IN RHODOS - OWN ME LIKE THE CITY LP
What's better than a good indie band. Rumble In Rhodos is a five piece from Oslo, Norway, who knows how to put on the good jams. Im happy to be a part of their first fulllength entitled "OWN ME LIKE THE CITY". Their sound is eaten by energic indie rock, touches of no-wave, danceable post punk and marks of the abstruse underground. Bands on the sound virus, French kiss records roster mixed with bands as Gang Of Four, Janes Addiction and Fugazi can be a fine match.
The cd version is released by the big indie distibutor Tuba records.

SHIVERING 7 INCH COMMING OUT SOMEDAY.
Shivering is a fine band from San Francisco, California. The mid 90's influential, Council records have released most of their record. Consisting members from ebullition-legends, Amber Inn and the recently amazingly husker du'ish band Bullets In. Musically, Shivering delivers great melodic punk rock ala, early washington dc/dischord sound. Classic bands as Rites of spring, Husker du, Naked Raygun, Gang of four, Lungfish have had a big influence on The Shivering.
Im happy to be a part of their last release ever. The record will be a co-op with my friends thomas aka glwdrk.com captain/firewalkwithme recs and spencers/into the hurricane recs. This will be extremely limited and awesome, 300 copies. Definately the three best songs this california based band ever made. Hopefully i will work on some other releases sometime 2006. BTW. Be sure to check out their new band, Bullets In.
"ANGORA STATIC" LP - WILD-ZERO/LILACSKY
Catch ANGORA STATIC newest record. Totally amazing noisy songs, abstruse but yet melodic and vital. You can throw melodic parells to bands as noise heroes Sonic Youth, the energy of Jesus Lizard and intricate rhytms ala Party of Helicopters. The bassist yanks and sings, one second close to Guy Pichetto then shouts as good as only David Yow does. The record is availeble torugh the sexy german FELIX aka WILD-ZERO records and LILACSKY.
