SNORAS (avalanche in norwegian) is an one-man armageddon project who writes polluted and high-pulsation rated contemporary punk rock. Yngve Hilmo founded SNORAS in 2005 and all music( bass,guitar,drums,vocals) is written by his own. With a search for the holy riff, the result is a cohesive mix of driving melodies which gets to your head at once.

Fans of Jesus Lizard, Malady, Husker Du, JR Ewing and the mid 90s Californian music scene will guaranteed fall for HEART OF WEAKNESS." H.O.W" is the first album of what will become a connected trilogy.

SNORAS teamed up with CARL WIKMAN( ( Seven Feet Four, Switchblade, Nine, Kaospilot++) who mixed the record. The popular San Diego based painter Kate Wince made the artwork, and the explosive drummer from JR Ewing(Kenneth Lamond) played his characteristically way of drumming.

RUMBLE IN RHODOS consists of five virtuoso boys from the plural suburbs of Oslo, Norway. Offering a delicate sound of energic indie rock, touches of no-wave, danceable post-punk and marks of abstruse underground, Rumble In Rhodos debut fulllength, "Own me like the city" confirms their potential as a newcommer of 2006.

With strong press articles in the Norwegian press, invitation to perform at The Canadian Music Week(CMW) and nomination in the category "Favourite New International Artist", The Indies 2006", currently booking their first european tour that kicks off in spring 06, among touring intensely over the norwegian continent their confidence are ready for international acknowledge.

The rumbles were formed in early 2003. A sincere collaboration between five friends uniting their musical differences and backgrounds, resulting in advantages. Without any detours the luminary music scene in Norway opened their eyes for this exploding act and the past went trough a journey of adventures for Rumble In Rhodos.

In 2004 the Zoom (underground music contest in Norway) was conquered and RIR played intensely trough norwegian continent. The contest also resulted in strong press articles in the leading newspapers and web portals in Norway. Their EP were well acclaimed, and all the biggest festivals in Norway( Quart, oya, Slottsfjell etc.) invited Rumble In Rhodos.

Fader magazine wrote after the oya festival " The sleeper band of the festival is also the recipient of the Dr Dog Award. Rumble In Rhodos are five young norwegian dudes who are on some At The Drive In shit with slightly softer angles. The lead singer plays both Blood Brothers at once, singing one line with a Cedric Bixler Zavala high voice, then drops down into a really nice low singing voice. The songs are great, but they get the Dr Dog Award for being young dudes that dont try to act like rock stars, or anything at all for that matter. They dont dress up like assholes and they dont pose. One guy does have a kinna crazy mustache, but it looks awesome and hes Norwegian so maybe its not weird. But yeah, RIR just play great hardcore-ish rock and are psyched about it. So are we"

Their reputation for being a killer live band is no fucking joke. All their historical moments can easily be seen in the positivity and self confidence that surrounds the band. The established management GOLDSTAR( Cato Salsa Experience, JR Ewing, Enslaved+ ) picked up the band on their roster. The cd version of "Own me like the city" is released by the major independent distribution company in Norway, Tuba records and have already made GREAT reviews in national papers.

Musically Rumble in Rhodos are inspired by new wave, danceable post-punk, with a good clash of variated indie rock. Bands on the French Kiss records roster, the Sound virus roster, Fugazi, Trail of dead and the present Dischord sound are all existence keys to the Rumble sound. Stylisticly full of dynamics, playful guitars, among a yanking, diverse and high pitched singer are some of their aesthetic qualities. Together with their danceable melodies, upbeat and brash rhythms " Own me like the city " keeps your attention throughout its entire runtime.

THE SPECTACLE - ROPE OR GUILLOTINE 600 LP's - Still available

The Spectacle are a crazy 6 piece collective from far north of norway, Bod?. They claim its the best city to live in, with its beautiful country/mountain landscape, among their perifer philosphy that goes something like "you get what you create, nevertheless where you live". Sure shot, The Spectacle are sincerce guys and have made punk/hc popular in their hometown. Boys and girls up there, probably french kisses more to Tragedy and Catharsis at primeballs than to listpop

Musically Spectacle combines a heavy and furious sound mixed with energic/catchy crust sound ala Tragedy/From Ashes Rise. But Spectacle doesnt stop where others do. "Rope or Guillotine" are filled with violin, chello and other instruments who keeps their sound full of passon and nuances. The songwriting are full of dynamic, epic and melancholic parts in vein of the CONSTELLATION family. And with their 3 guitarists, back up vocals and a talented hard-hitting drummer makes you smile time after time you see this fucking wall of madness live.

Spectacle have toured frequently over Europe several times, along an eastcoast tour in the States with their comerades from Requiem/Crimethinc (who also released the cd version of "Rope or guillotine" and their newest release "I, Fail"). "I, fail" is a challenging record and their progress since "Rope or guillotine" are enourmous. Its nice to see that punk/hc can be re-invented - " I, Fail" is full of variations; samples, acoustic guitars, electronic parts, african drums, to mention a few things. A masterpiece within its genre.

Angora Static is a three piece hailing from Oslo, Norway. Two hungry and young men, shared the last band position with a noise enthusiastic bassist in his late 20's who now are playing with the great shoegazer/noise band SERENA MANEESH.

The teamup turned into an interesting journey musically speaking. The guitarist and bassist fills out the empty space of a second guitarist with their variated and dual lines. You can throw melodic parells to bands as noise heroes Sonic Youth, the energy of Jesus Lizard and intricate rhytms ala Party of Helicopters. The bassist yanks and sings, one second close to Guy Pichetto then shouts as good as only David Yow does. Melodies, halftones and original riffs makes the Angora sound ROCK. Unfortunely the first 7 inch is way gone, but their first fullength was released in the end of 2005 on Wild Zero records. Definately a unique release within undergound music. Do yourself a favour and pick it up.

Angora Static have toured Europe 3 times, twice with Kaospilot and once with "The birds are spies they report to trees". They will hopefully tour now and then with their newest album and get some of the beautiful attention they fucking deserve.
